Integrations

Gitlab

Homie comes with first-party integration with Gitlab. This means we’ve worked hard to make sure you have the same features, whether your team uses Gitlab, or GitHub. Another added benefit is that everything works the same, so there isn’t anything new for your team to learn - even if you decide to switch at some point.

Features
  • Track PRs

  • Generate PR summaries

  • Link to tasks

  • Ingest PR data on merge

Setup

To get started, either select Gitlab from the onboarding screen, or go into Settings > Gitlab, and select Install Gitlab.

You will then be redirected to Gitlab, where you can login as the user that will be performing actions on behalf of Homie. We recommend that you create a separate user for Homie, but any user with the access to the projects you’d like to track will do.

Next, click Authorize to grant Homie access.

Back in your Homie setting’s page, select the Gitlab Projects that you’d like Homie to track by selecting the toggle.
