Problem

Up until now, to deliver exceptional software on time with driven team members you'd have to invest in managers, internal tooling, documentation, and performance reviews. All taking away from engineering resources, and costing the average project over $100k in budget allocation annually, and still, everybody hated it. Owners didn't see the value in tooling, managers struggled to implement new processes, and engineers pushed back on constant reporting.

Solution

So we set out to fix everything and prioritize engineers, managers, and owners equally. The goal is to get engineers what they need faster, free up managers from constant follow-ups, and gain deeper insights for owners. It also had to be zero-config, opt-in at every step, and not introduce any new processes because that's what we, as a busy software team would want ourselves.

The result of years of experimentation, and feedback from over 50+ teams is what you're currently reading: Homie. We called it an AI Project Manager because that was the quickest way for people to understand, but it's so much more. It's having a new senior dev that's available 24/7 to help you out. A project coordinator that constantly monitors for duplicate work, and reviews task assignments. A co-founder that loves making charts to measure resource allocation, and burn rate.

Homie is your team's secret weapon to making sure you ship cool things on time, while putting everybody's happiness first.

LFG homie,

Mike
